Occulta Tempus Pt. 2: Hourglass (Melancholy) Frustration had consumed the young woman who grew tired of the endless cyclical hell she embarked on. Countless lives and opportunities she had wasted that had yielded no results, in the basement, she grew impatient. Despite having all the time in the universe, no matter where she looked she couldn’t find it. The mystical hourglass mentioned in books of old eluded her, she began to question if it even existed in the first place. Like many before her, she documents her futile search, enclosing it in a book leaving her findings for perhaps another fool that’s brave enough to seek out this hourglass. She decides she has dedicated enough and leaves the basement resolved to live and enjoy her life, but before she can leave, she sees a new path in front of her, one which in all her lives she had not once seen. Perhaps this was a delusion trying to convince her, yet she decided... “one last time. One last time I shall embark on this journey. One last time and if my search yields no results then I shall resign to my fate.” What awaits her in this journey? Will she find the hourglass? Or only melancholy... The story continues in part 3...
