I haven't made one in a long time. Originally, I wasn't going to cover this since there's already so many great flute covers of this song out there, but when I saw the riff, I felt like I just had to learn it as a challenge lol... Well after working out how it was physically possible to play some of the notes up to speed and a lot of practice, I bring you this cover! (Disclaimer there's still a lot of just winging it =A=) For any flutists who actually want to play that abomination of a riff, I recommend using the 1st trill key to play the semiquaver D to Cs, otherwise it's pretty hard. I used a lot of other shortcuts for fast parts since it's just to difficult to use proper fingerings, if you want to know what I used for a particular part feel free to ask in the comments. This was filmed outside since I wanted a change of scenery- the hardest part was trying to stop my sheet music from blowing away during the middle of recording, but the lighting makes my flute sparkle so it was worth it! There was nothing to fill the instrumental with since I wasn't able to play those runs, so have a random Kiwi animation riding an old bike all over the place. The song lyrics say bicycle somewhere so it's relevant right?
