I started this song a long long time ago after I was getting stuck in my head a lot/over thinking. (which is what the song is about) but I abandoned it because I just couldn't get it right and shelved it for like, 2 years? I was trying to find the vocals for toxic gamer when Sturge (Whales of Neptune) and I were making that. I accidentally opened Fly and he asked what that was heard it and went "yeah that's being added to your EP, you have no choice" I was on the fence about it because, while I had improved a lot in those 2 years I had no idea on how I wanted to progress the song, it was literally chords no drums and the chorus melody guide. then he offered to send me over some guitar stems to get the "brain juices flowin" and now we have Fly so, if you liked it. thank Sturge lol.
