[IA] Jin - Epiphany (Vocaloid Cover)

This is the short version as seen in the trailer, not the full length one. ================ I have a couple mixed feelings about this song. The melody is nice, I like Jin's singing, and the instrumental fits very well. This could've been my most favorite intro, with Boy Meets Evil in 2nd place. However, it's the lyrics that I have a problem with. I get that they're trying to convey the message that people should be content with what they have, or who they are, but that's only the surface. People can't always love themselves at their current state, or else they'll never seek self-improvement. If someone likes the color white, but I like the color black, it's okay to acknowledge myself for liking that color because it doesn't affect anything else, it's just an opinionated personality thing. If I liked any other color, my personality wouldn't change much. But as a person, I have flaws too, such as being selfish in some situations. I can't just say, "Well, everyone makes mistakes, so it's okay for me be selfish." While mistakes happen, if I truly loved myself I would try to change for the better so that I can become a better person. The way that the lyrics were written were a bit conceited, and throughout the Love Yourself series, I've seen fans take it out of context. Hence why I don't call myself an Army.
