[You've Got Mail!] Hey hey. Guess who did a 6 hour deep dive on old viruses one night then decided to write a song about one of them? If you're confused, I'd recommend looking up the ILOVEYOU virus, because that's what this is based on. The actual stuff surrounding the virus isn't super interesting, but I really thought the idea of a virus that heavily utilised this sort of social engineering as part of it's spread was fascinating, and made for a really compelling character idea - a virus that doesn't even really understand what love is, but it knows that humans desire it, so it'll say anything to get you to open it, because it needs you to spread. Also, building the old-OS aesthetic with pixel art was really fun. Haha. I miss when computers looked like this.
