I’ve been learning some Japanese, and while I’m still learning I decided to make a song with my knowledge! This was years ago tho, and I deeply regret my actions. This song is a human-made adaptation of an old AI-generated idea. Only the initial concept up to the first chorus came from AI; everything else was written and composed by me. The lyrics have also been extended and humanized by me, so everything beyond the first chorus is me. Anyway, the original meaning of Lovedust was that if someone feels love, they die. Kinda like Crydie I guess? But I didn’t have any plans of humanizing this song for… obvious reasons. Until my friend asked if I could make a valentine song about feeling like they’re gonna die because they still love their ex that may or may not have been toxic-ish? Idk much about their relationship and I don’t bother asking cuz I don’t wanna make them uncomfortable. So I decided “hey! Why not just humanize a 30-second Suno prompt I put in three years ago to make me feel less guilty about using AI long ago?” And then I extended the lyrics using my possibly broken and yet hopefully meaningful Japanese knowledge! I feel pretty honored for posting Lovedust on the same day DECO*27 posted Love Words V!
