I think I had pretty much complained enough about not being able to write music, that it just happened! Complaining TOTALLY works! *I'm not responsible if someone calls you out for complaining* So, there was a LOOOONG process that I spent all day yesterday working on! On Sunday night, I just needed to write something, but I lacked any ideas. I sat at my keyboard and played some chords until one set just hit me. I saved the recording (just in case) in my DAW so I wouldn't forget upon sleeping. When I woke up, I knocked my college assignments out for the day early and worked from noon to 8 (with dinner around 5:30) nonstop on this project. It took forever to make the piano sound JUST the way I wanted it, and I'm happy with how it came out. Then, Vocaloid processing came together. It took a while to find just the right vocal melody I wanted. 2 scrapped ideas that were awful, and then this one! Before I made the whole backing track, you'll hear the VERY original piano concept at the very end after the last lyrics. That was the creative process! The story behind this is simple: A murderer singing a lullaby to some child/person before regrettably murdering them. The rest is up to you guys to decide!
