When he happens to come across two "apples" that are lying on the ground, unbeknownst to him that they really are two babies. Thinking they are a gift from God,he decides to pick them up and take them home to his depressed wife. He says she must hurry home because bears like to come out in the woods. Suddenly the babies' mother appears, perceived as a "bear." Adam starts to run, even though he knows the truth that the fruits are actually the bear's loved ones. He stumbles through the forest, lost, and starts to cry along with the "bear" and "fruit" He later arrives home and is glad to finally be safe. Adam shows the "apples" to his wife, Eve. She is horrified by the sight, and reminds him that their children are already dead and she has to return these two. Adam screams in horror as he realizes what he has done, an "unforgivable sin." Eve suggests he can still give the babies back to their mother (who is either Meta Salmhofer/MEIKO or Palea Noel/Hiyama Kiyomi) , but Adam admits he has already killed her, and the corpse is outside their house. Beside the body is a bottle filled with milk.
