Based on he Peace Declaration by the students at the Ohzu Junir hight school, Hiroshima, Japan, this music was composed by TAKADA Ryuji, the chirf leader of the Hiroshima Chorus together with YAMANOKI Takeshi, the sub leader of the Chorus group, who wrote the lyrics from the declaration. Original lyrics has 4 verses, and they are asking every friend to write the 5th lyric. http://www.utagoekissa.com/negaiE.html -------- 2001年、広島の大洲中学校の当時の３年生が、平和を訴えて歌う「広島合唱団」（団長 たかだりゅうじ　副団長 山ノ木竹志）と交流する中で自分達の思いを「平和宣言」としてまとめました。これを元に、2002年2月にこの曲がつくられました。 2003年8月に、淡路島で開かれた教師や生徒の世界的なネットワーク「iEARAN（アイアーン）」の国際会議でテーマ曲として取り上げられ、約850人による大合唱で、国際会議の参加者を迎えました。2003年10月に毎日新聞でこの歌が紹介されたことがきっかけで、日本中はもとより、世界中に歌い広まっていきます。２７カ国、３１言語に翻訳され、まだまだ増え続けています。 元々は、４番までの曲ですが、更に、みんなで「５番」を作りましょう、という企画で、500番以上が作られています（2011.2現在）。2005年12月にNHKで放映された「ねがい～世界に広がる平和の歌～」では、チェルノブイリ事故の時に6歳で被爆したウクライナの歌手、ナシャーシャ・グジーさんが自作の歌詞を披露されました。 http://www.utagoekissa.com/negai.html -------- [Original Poem] Volunteer Group from Ohsu Junior High School [Lyrics] YAMANOKI Takeshi [Music] TAKADA Ryuji 1.
