A Junkyard for the Lost - Kumohead [Solaria] [Original]

No place stays uninhabited for long, not even the deepest reaches or the darkest alleys. Even when you turn the furthest corner there's people here. People who walked your same path. People who strayed or, maybe, even people who followed their gut, some misguided sense of discovery, and took the plunge. All of them, sooner or later find the Junkyard, where all the entropy coalesces, the last coagulating measure of a normalcy afraid of being bled dry. There the decay stains every surface and every soul. Everyone filled with "were" and "was"s holding them like candles whose flame is about to expire. Hidden behind sealed lips, wary of giving one last chance to die to things that, frankly, already did. ------------ I hope everyone is doing fine, hello everyone. I'm going to confess that I felt like I hit a creative wall this month, so I've been struggling a bit more to work on this last song. On the other hand, producing it has been a blast and once I, more or less, understood what I wanted to do thematically it flowed pretty nicely. I'll make the soon-to-be-broken promise of making the next one less depressive. And, as always, thank you a thousand times to everyone who tells me how they feel about my music, that gives me encouragement or that helps me with their opinion on my work. You're a sunshine. I've been meditating about commissioning some art specifically for this song, but I'll have to give it some more thought before I reach any further conclusion.
