This started out as an OC song, but quickly became more of like... the love letter I wish I could send to my past self. The pain and hope and love she couldn't put into words when she needed it most. A friend of mine said that, in a way, she got it eventually, which is such a lovely way of putting it, haha. Maybe it will help someone else who's going through something similar. Maybe it'll just help someone have a fun time dancing. Who knows!
