I've suffered for sight and struggled with space, To see the cosmos shine from the smile of every face, These eyes, they are cursed to see beyond the mind, But to see mistakes I've made, these eyes, they are cold and blind. Forced to face the guilt within, My monster wants to run, To flee from all the evil, That I've ever done, Forgive me for these eyes, oh lord, Abyssal poisoned mind, Release me from my need for blood, And take them, make me blind.
