YAKOU FURIO FAN SONG: The Meat Bun Song - ft. Kasane Teto (SynthV)

This is my magnum opus. I don’t even know if I’m saying that ironically or unironically. All I know is that this is my magnum opus. —--------------- So, for this song I was really inspired by those old vocaloid songs you’d find on niconico, as well as a ton of eurodance songs from back in the day, such as carameldansen, rainbow girl, and sweet little bumblebee (for some reason all of those songs have at least one section filled with gibberish it’s kind of funny to think about). Also, this song’s kind of based on how, whenever there’s a character that likes a certain food, you KNOW the fandom will make a joke out of it. I mean, that’s not the ONLY reason I made this song, but I think that was one of the reasons, and of course, I did kind of want to respect Yakou’s character and not just reduce him to that food. Every song I make is a love letter to their respective characters, even the ones I dislike (Yakou’s one of my favorite characters btw I do NOT hate him lol) I genuinely had such a fun time making this. From conceiving the whole thing, to making the song, to making all the drawings and effects in this video, I was laughing and crying all the way. I never would’ve imagined I’d be able to complete something like this. Sure, the drawings are very half-assed (intentionally so btw. The sloppiness gives it nostalgic charm) But having a full blown music video for a song I MADE feels like something I’d just imagine in my head knowing full well it’d never become reality…but it has. It’s real now! I guess that’s why it’s my magnum opus. —------------ Voices: Yakou Furio: Kasane Teto AI (SynthV) Yuma Kokohead: SOLARIA(SynthV), Elanor Forte Lite(SynthV) (The elanor lite bit is used as part of Yuma’s scream. Also, I have non-lite Elanor, which you can hear as Martina Electro in Yomi’s song) I was originally gonna use Genbu for Yakou’s voice, but I only had his lite, and you’d need to get the full voice for him to speak English without a massive amount of tuning. Plus, I’m happy I got to use Teto since Kasane Territory is a massive inspiration for this song AND art style lol. If you think about it, it’s also a funny nod to how Genbu used to be used to recreate Teto, so I’m kind of doing the reverse here!
