Hex here! And wow we got another cover out let's goooo!!! This one's actually more recent than some of the ones I've been posting, and that's because @CeruleanP was wonderful and did the art for me! Woo!!! This one's also a SNAFU lore cover but uhhhh- This is very much further ahead in the lore, so we got a LOT of explaining to do! First of all, we gotta talk about Ryo, as well as Yi Xi. As mentioned, Ryo's a part of the villain group in SNAFU, acting as one of the more competent members, but also one of the more reluctant ones. He's eventually hired as the manager for SNAFU, acting as a double agent. But eventually he gets rather... Attached to the group. Eventually he ends up coming clean, leaving the villain group but... The members of SNAFU don't fully forgive him. He needs to EARN that forgiveness, especially since he's proven to be untrustworthy Yi Xi, meanwhile, is very much an... interesting force in the villain group. A member of it, yet more of a puppetmaster, influencing the strings. She's an ancient creature of shadows, several millions, if not billions, years old. But, for a very long time, she was imprisoned. Up until recently that is... Now she works with the villain group, though she has her own goals in mind... After Ryo comes clean, SNAFU's left in... An interesting state. Ryo was handling a lot of the organizational work, but now no one trusts him with it, so a lot of that has fallen to Noa. Noa, who has a hard time keeping up with the work due to difficulties from his chronic fatigue. So he starts self-medicating with drugs. Yep, bender arc for Noa lmao. Ryo's also staying with Noa, seeing as Noa's the only one willing to put up with him and he has nowhere else to go And then... Noa goes through withdrawal. And so, seeing this as a perfect opportunity, Yi Xi possesses Noa... Ryo attempts to call the other members of SNAFU for help, warning them, but they don't believe him... And I'll leave it there.
