Thank you for helping make that song as special as I knew it had potential to be. Now! Presenting my first cover of an actual Vocaloid song! From the moment I heard the guitars in this song I knew I wanted to learn it, and cover it. And Moca turned out to be the perfect vocalist to bring my version to life! This was actually recorded for my December festivities but fell out of it to make room for other things, and in hindsight I'm glad it did because Neru decided to release an updated version of the song right at the end of the year lol. This version does not take that version into account, at least not entirely. I did base the harmonization of the main melody off the new version of the song BUT I already had that idea bouncing in my head before I heard it, having only decided to follow through once I heard the new version. I also used a synth instead of a guitar for the harmony, and added an extra synth pad in some sections to further distinguish my version from the original. The lead guitar during the chorus - for the life of me listening to the original track I could not pick out anything that sounded remotely close to what I ended up playing, which was based on the guitar pro tab I used to learn the song. In the end I decided to keep it rather than try to record something else (like the new leads in the updated version). I think it sounds cool though and it's another thing to make my version of the song a little more unique from the original lol. I hope you enjoy Moca's channel debut!
