I think I like using it better than using UTAU, the workflow is generally a lot less clunky. Editing UST's always takes me quite a long time, but DV files generally go a lot quicker. I think it helps a lot that it works more like Vocaloid in that you don't have to fit the file to the voicebank, since it automatically does all that for you. The pitchbending is also a lot more intuitive. This isn't actually the first cover I've created with DeepVocal — the first time I ever used it was when it was still called SharpKey (man, remember that?), it didn't turn out too bad so I might tweak it a bit in DeepVocal and release it one of these days, we'll see. It's kinda funny to me how my first public cover with it is in Korean though, not that it matters all that much of course. Using hangul was definitely fun too, makes me kinda sad UTAU doesn't support it yet. Now, you probably want to know the answer to the burning question: "So Lotte, will you import your UTAU banks into DeepVocal?" Short answer: No. Long answer: Still no... but that doesn't mean I won't make any banks for it, because I will. Stay tuned for that. Credits are in the video.
