Not only that, but she's completely free for owners of Studio Pro! She's insanely high quality, and even though she only has two vocal modes (Emotional and Soft) they're more than enough to make her incredibly expressive. She might be my favourite feminine voice on SynthV right now. In addition to Mai being released version 1.8.0b1 introduced Diffusion Probabilistic Models (DPM), a change to the synthesis engine essentially replacing HDVM which is extremely natural sounding. It seriously got rid of all the problems with HDVM and basically every voice I've heard with it sounds better than even before HDVM was introduced! Note-level cross-language synthesis was also implemented in a similar vein to VOCALOID6 and ACE Studio, though while those two can only do XLS between two languages SynthV currently has three at its disposal - I'm going to try and get makeshift Korean working soon.
