The Witch of the Harvest - Kumohead [Solaria & Mai] [Original]

Each passing year the land grew hungrier, drinking the blood and sweat of the farmers that slipped through the cracks of its soil. Seeing that, The Witch of the Harvest offered her help. Yet the greediness of the land couldn't compare to the one of its people, and as the drops it demanded turned to rivers the small rituals they performed turned sacrifices. The people gave more, and more, consuming everything they held dear. There was no deal they wouldn't accept, no evil they would repeal. Horrified by this, the witch turned her back to them and, with that, the cycle stopped but, nothing, was solved.
