This marks the start of a new era for me and I'm so excited to share it with y'all :000!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started this song back when I was 19, and spent about 2 years working on it! This was right after I hit 10k subs and I wanted to try creating a catchy pop song that combined the energy of my two most impactful songs back then, Self Proclaimed Angel and Dizzy Paranoia Girl. I tried my hardest to layer the story-driven, confident and jazzy, dark electro-pop vibes of SPA through the fast paced, manic, and lyrically dense 4-on-the-floor lens of DPG. I think the final product came out as a super catchy and fun lead single for my album, and I'm really proud of it :3 Once again, I was really inspired by Japanese Vocaloid Producers when I was composing/writing/producing this song. The biggest inspirations for me this time around were Hiiragi Kirai, nulut, and Satsuki!! I really wanted to create something upbeat, electroswing and fun that hides a more sinister narrative within it. I feel like making it a Yi Xi x Miku toxic yuri song with the different Vocal Synth cameos throughout the MV was a really fun decision and it's a perfect way to usher in this next era of my music. Huge thanks to akiiba0 and zena for the video! Both of them are longtime friends of mine and have been asking to work with me on a project of this scale for a while. I've been wanting to direct a fully storyboarded classic Vocaloid MV like this ever since I started my musical journey, and being able to have them bring the vision I had to life was such an out of this world experience. Huge props to both of them!!!!!! I've been spending the past 3 years (ever since I graduated high school and uploaded SPA) prepping for this album rollout and I feel so hyped to share all of the songs I've been making with y'all!!! I'm really nervous but it's definitely outweighed by my excitement to experience this era side by side with all of you.
