Queen's Gambit / Kasane Teto

Hello Friends, I am excited to participate in #Vocagathering2026 this year. I have always wanted to write a more "produced” song. This time, I have decided to combine the older and newer styles of music, and try out a few different production techniques. A few parts of the song is inspired by modal jazz, particularly referencing the famous Miles Davis tune, "So What." as well as influenced as a whole by the "Kind of Blue" album. Another source of influence was modern Hip-pop, as well as New Jack Swing.
