Remember when McKatherine did the Patchwork Staccato cover turning the soft style of the song into a powerful one? Well, now she did that again! But this time it is EVEN worse! Patchwork Staccato had at least some rythm with drums and the lyrics were pretty sad so it wasn't that much of a change, but this one is totally pointless since it's just a smooth piano and there's no reason for it to be powerful! -mckatherine pointlessly killing your favourite songs since 2004 ... Ok, if you already knew this song you'll probably hate this version because there's no excuse for not doing it in a soft style. So why? Why would you do this? Who in their right mind asked for this? well... I did. This is entirely the result of a whimsical wish of mine. It's story time! : I've got to be honest with you: I don't necessairly LOVE WITH ALL MY HEART every single song I cover. There are some that I really love (Q, for example), and some others that I just see they could potentially sound good with a specific voicebank and would get views but are not my favourites. But this one was an exception. The moment I listened to it for the first time it automatically became one of my favourites on a time where I could't find a new vocaloid song that I really liked and was slowly going away from the community and the synths. Oh my, it had been a LONG WHILE since I didn't listen to such a good song for the first time and absolutely loved it. I remember back in my "vocaloid/utau noob" days when at least a quarter from all the songs I discovered were a "WOW, THIS SOUNDS SO GOOD, I LOVE IT AND WILL LISTEN TO IT ALL DAY!". The magic slowly faded away as I got more experienced in music and now I can't even remember the last time I added a song to my "Music I love" or "I will keep listening to this" playlist. So this song had a real impact on me! But what really caught my attention was not only how complex the rythm and the melody were, but also how the instrumental itself (while the song was supposed to be "happy") transmited a feeling of happiness but at the same time a lot sadness. I see it as if the song created a relaxing and dreamy but nostalgic atmosphere and I wanted to have a version that actually transmited that with the vocals because of how special this piece is to me. So I did something I had never done before: I always just insert the lyrics on the VSQx and then start tuning from the melody and then just throw it to the off vocal, but this time I tuned each part depending on how the instrumental sounded in each note. It's just that this song is so well composed that every single note of the piano transmits a different emotion, just like telling a story with music. Ok, some of you will think I'm just overdramatizing this song and that I'm just being selfish tuning it just the way I interpretate it (and how I like it) and not how the song is "supposed to be"... and you might be right! This cover was basicaly made for me and I even drew Rin more "child-like" laying on the grass to make the pv look more like a happy memory or a dream from the past which gives the singer the sadness of this song. The only reason why I uploaded it is that MAYBE there are more listeners that also like this different way of viewing the song, with a "deeper" meaning and not just the Miku drinking coffee while she's listening to the singing birds story... If you read that whole silly paragraph I really appreciate that! :) If you're wondering how this PV suddenly looks so smooth in comparison to m other videos, it's because I (again) did something I never did before: I did all the pv in one aviutl project and exported it into one big video instead of rendering first the composition, then the effects and then the lyrics in separate videos and I'm so happy this is my first aviutl not-laggy PV! I learned that Aviutl is really bad at processing already existing video files and that it will almost never render them correctly, so take that in mind! Also, I know there are some errors in the pronunciation (just like in other covers I did) That's because I always get the romaji from web sites and copy it into my VSQ.
