When I first heard Galenaia and Hxvoc, I wanted them to sing together for a song that was reminiscent of that 2010 Symphonic Metal sound. And thanks to Theodor, we added some subtle Nightwish references in the mix, like the techno drum section before the second verse. Another reason for using Hxvoc and Galenaia was to do a 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'Phantom of the Opera' type song - The song was written to be about an outsider's perspective on a toxic relationship. So Hxvoc and Galenaia are representing the angel and the devil on someone's shoulder. So they're both talking to themselves and arguing to the person in the relationship. Everything else is left up to the imagination - I wanted to include a Spanish section with Galenaia, but I don't speak the language. So that bridge was co-written with LovelyMetalhead to make sure the grammar was correct. Some changes were made to fit the meter like "don't kill my angels" became "don't assassinate my angels" because that had a better flow in Spanish - For some reason, Hxvoc and Galenaia are not wearing shoes. So it's the first Zynthesiren song that shows feet. Do whatever you want with that information - First Zynthesiren song that doesn't use Solaria - The title of this video has been wrong since release. It was Killing Angel (no s at the end) for over 9 months... Whoops
