It was a cosmic accident, or a trick of fate. Do you still believe in love at first listen? I do. 🙈 Since then, the song has been chasing me day and night. It even made it into my top 50 of the year, despite arriving with far less of a head start than its worthy companions. I paused my walk through the other rooms of the gallery. I crossed the massive black door, drawn by instinct and impulse. I need to understand this resonance. Something in the lyrics, in the pulse, in the melody, swings like a pendulum: this is the place. Here, among extinguished constellations and echoes of cyclical wars, I decided to stay a little longer, to search among the shadows. As the song unfolds, the outside world burns in its own myths— the U.S., Venezuela… news comes in cold bursts. None of this is about me, and yet it all wounds me. Just as in March 2020, that certainty returns—something is about to fracture. Even as we pretend everything is normal… we are no longer the same. Never again. So I write it down here, even if it means marking the door: You and I know that we’re not on our own. Together, we’ll fall into the dark. With stars above just bright enough for us to find ourselves in darkness. === Could this be the entrance to the D4rk Room?
