Aquestone speech synthesizer only has phonemes for Japanese, giving the vocals their strange character and making them admittedly difficult to understand. At the time, I was working late while my fiancee was working early, so I couldn't turn on a microphone to sing. This is the first song I made with a speech synth, after which I tried UTAU for more versatility.
