【UTAUカバー】 Honey I’m Home (+ 2D/MMD PV) 【ゲキヤク /Gekiyaku】

I honestly don’t know how to start this description out other than saying that this is probably one of the biggest projects I’ve done with UTAU so far. It may not be the best video, but I’m proud enough with what I have to share it. ;v; Also, I just want to unload this really quick, Olive is an amazing video editor but the fact that it got to where with every little action I did made it lag to the point of me having to restart the program was pretty bad to go through, lol. Then again, the program’s still in Alpha and my project was huge, so what can I say. I still love it, haha. c”: So, this cover! Hoo wee! This cover! As always, it was amazing to tune, I really tried to make Gekiyaku sound?? Well, emotional, I suppose? To fit the song. I hope you enjoy how it sounds. ;v; Secondly, the PV. I was originally going for something that fit more to what the original Honey I’m Home video did, but then I kinda converted over to a more Nashimoto-P-esque style to better fit how I think Gekiyaku would see things? Hopefully, it was at least a decent decision. ;-; I also made it partially MMD to reflect the possible theme of this song to be about converting to this odd, religion she doesn't want to be apart of? Like, at the start, Gekiyaku is 3D because that shows she’s aware of what’s going on in the world and praying for a new reality, as the song states. Then, when Gekiyaku becomes 2D, it shows she’s fully amongst the people of this religion they’ve converted her to; she is no longer wholly “herself.” Hopefully, that makes sense, but to be honest, the biggest reason why I made that decision is because I want to get back into MMD a bit, haha. I will also be posting this cover onto Amino shortly, and with it will be all the things I was going to include and didn’t, the thumbnail I made but found out I can’t use, and all that! c: I think that’s all I have to say for now.
