I wanted it to be something special (since it's THE Teto song), and when I saw so many others creating wonderful covers after the release, I just quit before I even got started. I pushed it off for so long, and then "Machine Love" released, and I felt like I lost my window of time to post it (not wanting to seem like I was trying to jump off of the bandwagon of Jamie Paige's success, not to mention fear of accusations of imitation and the like). I was just full of excuses. I wanted to do this song justice so badly that I didn't even want to try for fear of failure (perceived or otherwise). And after ML, I wanted to do *that* song justice as well. I just realized that life is too short to worry about what other people may or may not think. The vocal synth community (especially around Teto) is such a wonderful place, and I hope I can find a home among you all. I never thought I'd see the day any of my lyrics would be found by so many people. I'm not a singer or a musician, I'm just a (quote-unquote) writer with little talent and a whole lot of motivation. I hope I can continue to make translyrics (happy pride month lol, the lyrics are just like me) for you all for many years to come. I'm just happy to share a space with everyone else.
