IS. AWESOME. Ever since I heard it on Occult Academy, I've been practicing it on my sax... let's just say, it's not where I want it to be quite yet to record it, so that's going to have to be a later project. :-P However, when I found out there was a VSQ file for it, I was happy. When I found out it was by Ciel... epic fangirl moment. THIS VSQ. IS. AWESOME. Ciel has always made great covers, and ever since I've been looking through the one for 鳥の詩 (Tori no Uta/Poetry of the Birds), I've learned a lot about how to use VOCALOID's parameters properly... even though it takes a heck of a lot of patience to draw some of those curves by hand and getting it just right for a bank. Anyways, I can honestly say that TypeC's "ai" phoneme combination bugs the heck out of me with how random it can be... sometimes it sounds a bit twangy, and you might here what I'm talking about in this demo... and other times, it sounds alright. They're definitely going to have to check through the transitions of most of the phonemes and double check the samples used. Outside of that, it turned out very well. Did a bit more in terms of mastering though, mainly for the sake of reverb, adding her breath files in, and the "radio" effect in the background harmonies. Hope you enjoy!
