It's the release day for the first Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie in Japan and I figured what better way to celebrate than with a cover that takes us all the way back to the beginning of this amazing series! I have been sitting on this one for MONTHS!!! This was one of the very first songs I recorded back in early April when I was just playing around with Vocaloid/SynthV for the first time. In fact I didn't even have Teto in hand yet while I was recording it - I used Mai as a stand-in so I could program the vocals and swap over to Teto later when the physical copy I imported arrived. That said, please excuse any errors in the Japanese lol. It's not a language I read nor speak but I wanted to do this song in its original language so I did my best! I had so much fun working on this one! I even did a little bit of sound design, most of the synth sounds you'll hear were made from scratch (using plugins like Vital) rather than just selecting presets! That's something I hadn't really done much of up to that point so it was really exciting trying to get close to some of the synths in the original song.
