Be My Voice ~ feat. Megurine Luka (PREVIEW)

I've been working really hard on this original song, and I thought I'd share my progress since I'm feeling quite proud of it!! I've wanted to write a song for Luka ever since she first came out on the Vocaloid 2 back when I was just a kid--and so I'm finally doing it! I wanted to try and emulate the feel of the Vocaloid songs I heard back in that era when I made this song, in the days where a lot of producers were still finding their footing with it, thinking outside the box, and just writing whatever came to mind without worrying about sticking to a certain genre! Of course, I'm certain many producers still do all that even now (I certainly do!), but I'm leaning pretty hard on nostalgia with this song, so I can't help but think of the way I remember it being. ^^ Sadly, many of the old Vocaloid songs I truly loved have vanished from the internet since their composers were just regular people, the kind whose songs got ~500 to 1000 views, so they never blew up, and those people would eventually delete their accounts or put their videos on unlisted/private. In some ways, this is my love letter to all of them, both in thanks for inspiring me, and as a way of saying that their music hasn't gone forgotten. It's also a song that's very close and personal to my heart because I put a lot of myself and my experiences into it, but I should probably save the details on that for the full version, whenever that may be!
