Growing Wings (Drakengard) - Koharu Rikka (SynthV Cover) + SVP

for some reason i decided this would be the first song I would try making an SVP of. a song that is intentionally super reverbed/feedbacky/muffled/etc and hard to hear.. ;w; ACTUALLY originally I was going to try just converting a piano midi into a vocal synth project file BUT all the piano midis were. made for piano so the timing and notes didn't match up with the vocals and I was struggling with the BPM SO I had to start from SynthV's audio to midi function instead and fix it from there... but then I kept messing up the BPM again and had to restart like twice........... I learned a lot orz vocal synth hobbies will make you very quickly learn how to be mediocre at many skills. LUCKILY despite how intense this song is with the mixing and dynamics, the melody isnt toooooooo complicated.......i think... AND i'm glad I've started learning, I've been working on some other projects and it's fun to be able to make covers of stuff I can't find project files for!! NOW. Mixing this did make me start to go insane after a while. I don't know if the levels are correct. I don't know if I will ever know. this is just what it is now. there was a fanmade piano instrumental for this song going around a few years back but it's no longer available so I went with a rough cobbled together unofficial official instrumental instead LOL if you still have that fanmade instrumental, or want to make ur own, feel free to use this thang, change any timing u need to, etc. SVP: Check the link in my channel description or in one of my comments below!
