She'd bought it off Amazon as part of a cosplay for $19.99, a few months ago. It belonged to some Swedish fuck named Tobias, or something. Terzo? Whatever the comments called him. The covers she'd done of that metal band had been relatively successful, for awhile. But enough was enough. She needed to go back to her roots, back to music that complimented her voice. Yet, the longer the mitre sat on her dresser, unworn, the more she missed how it felt. Cheap fabric, cardboard interior structure, plastic-based lace. Even the band's logo on the front of it was coming apart at the seams from the short time she'd used it. Still, it felt nice on her head. It felt nice to wear her hair down low again, rather than high up on her head straining her scalp. The vestments were comfortable, even the sash across her arms was barely noticeable. Before she'd voiced the thought, the costume was back on.
