When I wrote the lyrics and melody for this song, I had a concept in mind which really got me thinking. I decided it would be fun to make the lyrics be a spiritual successor to the song "Persephone" which we wrote together. And, in keeping with the theme, I chose a Greek Myth to base the lyrics off. The story these lyrics are inspired by is the tragic tale of Orpheus and Eurydice. If you are unfamiliar with the tale, I encourage you all to look it up, because it's very sad and romantic.
