The idea for this song came from a conversation with a friend. In that conversation, we jokingly came up with the term “trauma spread” to describe people who try to compete with you by asserting that they have more traumatic experiences up their sleeve than you. This song is about that one person who you can’t vent to without entering a struggle race, but maybe, they go through a change of heart.
