I'm having trouble with time management and I still don't really know how to study... orz. There are people I get along with, but I still haven't made any actual friends, so it's a bit lonely. But I do have my online friends, still, so it's not so bad! Anyway, for philosophy class, we have to share an idea we learned in the class that we think would benefit people. So here's that idea in the form of a song~! ᴵ ᶠᶦᵍᵘʳᵉᵈ ᴵ'ᵈ ˢʰᵃʳᵉ ᶦᵗ ʷᶦᵗʰ ʸᵒᵘ ᵍᵘʸˢ ᶦᶰˢᵗᵉᵃᵈ ᵒᶠ ˢᵗᵃᶰᵈᶦᶰᵍ ᵒᵘᵗ ᵒᶰ ᵃ ˢᶦᵈᵉʷᵃᶫᵏ⋅ It's based on something Marcus Aurelius (a Roman co-emperor guy) wanted to focus on doing in his life. Basically not worrying about dumb things, thinking critically about what other people say, and letting other people be. I don't know if you'd be able to tell, but I tend to get in a lot of arguments with people over dumb things (like what Luka V4x's E.V.E.C. really is, lol)... Things like that, when you think about it, are really pointless because we're going to know in a few months or less anyway. Even in the cases of other things, is it really going to matter a year from now? If it isn't, then why bother? The other thing he wanted to do is not fawn over people just because they talk the talk, which I can completely get behind. Skepticism is great, y'all! If something turns out to be untrue, you don't look dumb in the end! (Which is part of why I like VO; everyone there is so skeptical ♡) Oh yeah, the title! That'll probably make more sense in the full version (when/if I make it, orz). (On another note: I had to transpose this song downward for Oliver. It's my first time transposing a song... lol. It was just way too high so I shifted it down by three. Also, I wanted to try realism again~)
