synthv cover || copycat (japanese ver) feat an xiao

Hex here! This is the Japanese version of the three Copycat covers I did with An Xiao! I don't really have anything interesting to say about the tuning for this one since I just entered in the Japanese lyrics into the tuned version of the English file. So, instead, I'm going to talk about the PV concept while also rating/giving my opinion on the An Xiao designs I used! The original versions of Copycat use the concept of a Vocaloid mimicking other Vocaloids, but the problem is that An Xiao has no official design in the first place. So my thought process was "well then what if he's mimicking other people's An Xiao designs instead?" Especially because no one has a consensus on a consistent design for him whatsoever. I think the VIMALION PROJECT version miiiight be the most used? But I'm not too sure. Unlike voicebanks like Kevin or Mai, there is just- No consistent traits between designs for An Xiao. Thus this concept! Now to talk and rate the designs lmao- 4-blood/UpTown-P's design: I personally find this the most amusing of the designs. I mean, his personality is literally described as "if Jerma was a SynthV bank" and he even has a tragic backstory. He is a poor, pathetic man trying his best to run his gameshow. He was also just generally really fun to draw chevrefee's design: Oh my god, he's edgy /positive, joking. Honestly I adore this much rougher take on him. I think it fits his voice so much, at least when you add the power vocal mode to An Xiao's voice. He also just generally fits the covers that chevrefee has used him in. He was pretty fun to draw as well, though he was also very quick to draw (a positive in my book) rev's design: God I adore this design as well, seeing him depicted as a himbo is just- Very fun. I believe rev also ships him with Mo Chen if I remember right based on some Mo Chen and An Xiao sketches I found on their Twitter. His design is also really nice, but there's just one problem... He's very hard to draw!!! His design is very detailed and his hairstyle is super hard to draw, so honestly he took the longest out of all five VIMALION PROJECT's design: I wasn't too sure if I liked this design at first, but it really grew on me while I was drawing. He gives massive theater kid vibes. He was also relatively easy to draw, though I did struggle a little on the hair. Overall, a very nice design, thank you CircusP and rice for starting the VIMALION PROJECT and giving a bunch of banks some nice designs :D My design: I don't think my design is all that good compared to other people's, but I really wanted to try making a design anyway. I mainly took inspiration from An Xiao's name meaning ("dawn on the shore") and the colors of his avatar. I wanted to make a sunrise and ocean theme with him.
