【Liam】 Outer Science 【SynthV 2 Pro Cover】

FLASH WARNING - TRIGGER WARNING - And I guess spoiler warning for KagePro's Bad End? I mean the series turned 14 last month (how is it that old?!), I assume most vocal synth fans know know the lore by now, but you never know lol SYNTH V 2 IS AMAZING. The new Vocal Mode system is just perfect, it's capable of so much! It blends in a bit with the instrumental here due to all the effects in the song, but you can make voices growl with the right Modes and enough finagling. It's nothing super intense, like with HXVOC, for example. It's sort of similar to what I could pull off in SV1 with the growl plug in, except it doesn't sound digitized and is more natural. So, more for emphasis at the beginning of notes instead of extended tones. This will hopefully tide me over until I am able to get HXVOC lol I was originally going to do a different song as my first cover with Liam, but while I was just playing around with his voice and found this pseudo-growl he had, this song started playing in my head. I've wanted to cover it for a really long time, despite it being the villain song and it being insanely dark, it's probably in my top three of the series (specifically the TeddyLoid remix, but that one doesn't have an off vocal unfortunately). Up to this point I didn't feel the voice banks I had had the right vibes to pull off the Snake of Clearing Eyes' monologue effectively, but I think Liam's works surprisingly well. Also... how is it that this is only the second KagePro song I've covered??? Anyway, since I just wanted to get a cover up quickly to celebrate SV2's launch I didn't bother dubbing this one, but my next cover with him probably will be a dub.
