I've been teasing this song for a while (mostly because I didn't have much else to promote), and here it is at last! It's my attempt at a passionate, orchestral song about my true feelings, and it hasn't turned out half bad! I'm proud of this. :) Consider this my celebration of the fourth anniversary of Ally and Anna's first UTAU demo, which is actually on the 18th, but I decided to share this now, for reasons which you will find out in just a moment. Now, the main point of posting this song now, is that I know that my parents watch my videos, although I'm not sure how much they read the descriptions. In any case, to my parents: I know that you've probably suspected for some time now that I might be transgender, and you've even asked me outright on a few occasions, but I've mostly avoided answering the question until now, for a couple of reasons. The short answer is, yes, I am trans... but it's a little bit more complicated than you might have thought. Your main assumption was probably that I would eventually come out as female-to-male transgender, but that's not actually what I am - I don't identify as male or female, and I am in fact a nonbinary person. I've been having experiences with body dysphoria recently, and I have also considered changing my name to better reflect how I feel. The reason why I've elected to explain this through writing rather than face-to-face is partially because I find it much easier to articulate my feelings about my gender identity through writing than through speech, where I usually struggle. This is also because I would not feel comfortable coming out in person, as some of the jokes and comments which you've made recently have led me to feel as though you wouldn't take me seriously, or that you otherwise would not understand.
