The rate this channel is growing is honestly pretty astonishing to me. Thank you all for your continued support - it truly means the world :) Anyway!! I'm back guys!!! This has been the biggest gap between uploads in a while lol... tbh I am both working on more difficult (but very exciting) UTAU projects for the future, as well as feeling a bit burnt out. Don't worry though, I will probably slow uploads and take a little break the next few weeks to rest and then be back before you know it!! (I doubt I'll be able to stay away that long anyway hehe) This song was the first of these more difficult, but exciting projects I just mentioned. I've loved this song for foreverrrr, but making a cover of it would be quite involved as there are MANY talking-ish parts (some QUITE long). Speaking of these talking parts... yes. They are all hand placed and tuned by ear. And yes, I probably went a little insane while making them. There is only so many times you can listen to Rin and Len jabbering a wall of text at each other on x0.5 speed before you lose it. Either way, it was a really fun challenge tbh. Ever since Sugar Highway I've wanted to try my hand at more songs with talking or rapping parts in my covers. Also! I ended up giving Rin's part to Shuu and Len's part to Teto. I really enjoy flipping around the gendered roles in songs (my bisexual is showing lmao). Plus, I thought the idea of Shuu as the mischievous younger sibling and Teto as the exasperated older sibling would be funny. I also adjusted the lyrics so that any instance where Rin originally referred to Len as "older brother" is replaced by Shuu saying "older sister." However, I did keep their pronouns as "boku" for Shuu and "ore" for Teto, because I thought Teto saying ore was funny, and I thought that anything different would be too much of a change from the original song. Anyway!!!!!! Sorry for the long description lol ig I guess I had a lot to say!! I hope you enjoy, and thanks for watching!
