He served her for all his life as a cleric of the Moon in the Garden of Moonlight along with the others who dedicated their lives to the Lady. One of them began to see visions—or claimed to have seen them— and told the prophecy of the falling moon, a punishment to the humans who no longer can be forgiven. The worshippers of the Lady Moonlight gathered to plan the extermination of such humans outside the Garden of Moonlight. He was mortified by the absolute resolve of the worshippers to kill other human beings, believing that the Lady will be appeased and the moon will not fall upon the world. He objected to the decision, and they assaulted him in rage, calling him a heretic. He was severely injured, dragged out of the garden and left to die in the mud. An unknown time later, he awoken; either by the grace of the Lady or vile magic, or something else entirely. But he is no longer the same. With his soulless eyes and cold, undying body, he followed the moon and returned to the garden, only to find that the Lady has already been corrupted by the beliefs of the twisted worshippers.
