Como el 94% del mundo, el tema seleccionado el año pasado fue tan... "experimental" que yo pensaba que ni nos presentamos al festival. Qué robo lo de la Channel, todavía no lo supero. Por suerte, este año tenemos algo incluso mejor que el r̶e̶g̶u̶e̶t̶ó̶n̶ g̶e̶n̶e̶r̶i̶c̶o̶ flow bacano de la genial artista hispano-cubana. Nebulossa demuestra que va con todo con un beat que pega fuerte, y sobre todo, rompe tendencias. Siempre valoraré a un artista que triunfa yendo a su p*to rollo en lugar de venderse por cuatro visitas tontas. Pero dejemos de hablar de mí. Ya cuando la escuché en el Benidorm Fest, noté que está canción bebe mucho de la Fangoria más noventera (tipo de voz, instrumental, tema de las letras...). Así que para este remix decidí trasladar el beat al estilo actual del grupo -- concretamente al disco de "Canciones para Robots Románticos". He dicho actual, y ese LP tiene 8 años. Yo no tengo la culpa de que no hayan sacado mucho más desde entonces. La segunda influencia directa es servidor, porque tengo ego y no vergüenza. Lxs que me sigáis de aquí a un tiempo, quizá os acordaréis de "pa'l hogar" (y si no ya os refresco la memoria https://youtu.be/Eyk1Lw76Rys?si=vpYO-SRuKUoOCy3u ). Me gustaría que penséis en esta mezcla como la heredera espiritual de aquelloz tiempoz locoz: sobre todo porque perdí todos los archivos de ese proyecto y será un día gélido en el Infierno cuando decida rehacerla de cero. Ahora, la ardilla peliverde. Le tengo asco a Miku, desde el minuto uno no; ya de antes. Me parece un perfecto ejemplo de cómo hacer un diseño demasiado anime puede arruinar un concepto revolucionario como Vocaloid para simplemente rebajarla a icono oficial weeabo. Pero gran parte de ese odio visceral que la profeso se debe a que JAMÁS he sido capaz de utilizarla en condiciones. No sé a qué demonio arcano le habrá vendido el alma Mitchie M para hacerla sonar como lo hace, pero a mí de siempre me ha superado. Hasta hoy. Gracias a la inteligencia artificial (que para bien o para mal, ha venido para quedarse), he sido capaz de transferir los atributos y marcas de sonido del acapella de Nebulossa a la versión Miku NT del Piapro Studio. Os ahorraré los entresijos, pero hay MUCHAS chapuzas involucradas en el proceso. Chapuzas que he podido aprender a evitar sobre la marcha para futuros proyectos. O eso quiero pensar. Not about making this remix -- that was kind of a sure call for me; but since England blatantly robbed us of second place two years ago in Eurovision, writing an English description for this now feels like giving up to those sons of the Great Britain. For the sake of this, I'll just focus on the good people from the US and the rest of the world that can't get Spanish. Yet. Love you brits, tho. All my support for our main course this year, Nebulossa: they have a strong anthem, a spectacular staging and the fresh factor. And although this year Israel might take the crown, I can smell the top 10 for Spain already (I listened to Israel's finalists, they clearly knew the job. Plus, being bombarded is always a guarantee -- but hey, "it's not about politics" 🙄). Long live Palestine tho. Tbh, this song NEEDS to be understood to properly get the whole experience right. Similar to Lock It, by Charlie XCX, but breaking after the bridge THE WAY GOD INTENDED. That song is awesome, yes, but feels like a half-org4sm. Also, If you've been around my channel for a while, you might also remember "tell 'em / pa'l hogar" ( https://youtu.be/Eyk1Lw76Rys?si=vpYO-SRuKUoOCy3u ) -- this is kind of its spiritual successor. As for Miku here, it's no secret AI has arrived to stay (for the better or the worse). Thanks to that, after many, MANY years, I finally could use her properly via Piapro Studio.
