【SOLARIA】 Heat Haze Daze 【SynthV Pro English Cover】

WARNING: Song and video depict sensitive subject matters that not everyone will be comfortable with. Whoo! I finally did something I've been wanting to do for years: remake my first cover. I hit a couple of road blocks along the way, mainly pronunciation errors due to the song being filled with short fast notes with words containing a lot of phonemes. There were also a few points where the word wouldn't actually extend the full length of the note for some reason? I don't know, I tried my best but there are still a few words that I couldn't fix entirely unfortunately. Anyway, on to the next project, which may or may not be an original song? Maybe? A speeding truck suddenly appeared And it ran over you, all I could do was scream A splash of the color red, the sight of you almost dead, My heart filling up with dread, it's too much for me This can't be real, it has to be dream "These aren't lies you see!" the Heat Haze laughs In the bright blue summer sky, I heard the cicadas cry Lost in a daze, I suddenly blacked out Waking up with a start, heart racing, I look around to see that I am in my bed I quickly check the time It was August 14th, close to noon, I guess it really was just a dream that I saw Then the buzzing cicadas remind me of that horror once again Gotta say. . . that all of this is pretty strange. I remember this nightmare I had last night, and it started out exactly like this "Hey. . . I think that we should go home." I say, leading you away From the street and the truck, not noticing The people around us were pointing up at the sky BAM! An iron poll came crashing down And it went right through you, I couldn't make a sound Your screams ripping through the air, your body nailed down right there, Wind chimes ring without a care, it's too much for me Starting to cry, I see the Heat Haze "This isn't a dream!" it laughs at me again I am frozen in my place, at just the sight of your face Why in the world were you smiling as you died there?! The Heat Haze has taken you away and laughed, I can't remember how many times I've seen you die. But it's been at least ten years. And to tell the truth, I've known about it almost just as long. Just like any other story ever told There can only be one ending. And I think I know how to finally end these repeating summer days. BAM! I pushed you away and jumped, So the truck would run over me, instead of you A splash of the color red, the sight of me almost dead, Your heart filling up with dread, it's too much for you Though the Heat Haze looked annoyed, it smiled at me "I win! In your face!" it starts to laugh again Another one of those days, being mocked by the Heat Haze. Except something changed, the loop finally ended. Just waking up on August 14th, at about 12:30 in the afternoon Was a young girl "It looks like I failed him again."
