This week I decided to do one for me because I feel like I've been doing nothing but requests. I should be balancing the ratio of one for me, one for thee better but it's really more tempting to do all the requests and cross them off the list. Since I got to a chunk of them already, I rewarded myself with something for myself. Requested stuff will resume shortly, but I also wanna get back into doing the stuff I wanna do for myself. I don't really have to disclose stuff like this since it's my channel, but I feel I should make that clear. White people try to do anything without slowed reverb versions of songs challenge I prefer the slowed/reverb version of this song because it feels like it sells the theme way better, plus it just hits different lol I decided to go with the Full English Text for the thumbnail since しう didn't go as hard. You'll just have to make your peace with that. SO Oh My God did it take a very long time to arrive at the art for this video. I don't think I've ever deliberated over what art would be in a video this long before, nor do I want to ever again. Well, I decided she's going to be a character exclusive to GrayLore, since her story can be told in those volumes...and she's under Lust leader Nishitani's care, so it makes sense. Purgatory King Majima is just along for this hellride. As for how Majima views her in GrayLore? Well, anyone that hangs around Nishitani so much is untrustworthy and annoying by association. He sometimes threatens her with a good time- I mean, threatens her with violence and gore, but he'd never go through with it and just does all that to scare her and because he thinks it's funny. Though I admit I did have fun with drawing Cheri getting shivved lmao This will also absolutely not be the last time that I have the two of them together! Their voices ended up complimenting each other so well I'm tempted to make an original song with the two of them. That'd be a lot of fun, I think. I don't know if the kanji that shows up during the prechorus parts is accurate but I tried my best to track down what would translate to "an accident." Really liked working on this PV! It's not as involved as a full music video but elevated from just a still image PV, I would definitely be up for churning more like these out while GrayLore Volume 1 is being worked on. They really don't take much more time than a singular image video (at least this one didn't) and I like how this one feels like a more solid video. That's not to shit on all my other videos; all I'm saying is how gratifying it is to release a fuller-looking PV. I'm a workaholic and addicted to the grind, so payoffs like these are huge to me.
