Why Me? ft. Saros (SynthV Original)

I don't have a favorite Farmhouse character, I don't know what you're talking about... *looks over at Tate with blatant favoritism*. This is Tate Catawnee, another victim of the Farmhouse and their operations. Though originally a shapeshifter, Tate was used in experiments to try to create a controllable, mindless monster called Project Maneater. They were close to completing the alterations to his body and mind, but he was rescued just in time to be able to keep his autonomy. Tate struggles with the fact that he doesn't feel completely human. He has urges to hurt and maim, but doesn't want to act on them. He hates that his aggression has been amplified in the experiments and that his temper often gets the best of him. Most of all, he wishes that he was born as a normal kid to people who would love him. In the story, Tate goes on an emotional journey of learning that there are people who love him. Story aside, this song has been kicking my tail for over a year. I wrote the original version of it, but I wasn't satisfied with the product. I kept messing with it off and on, but ultimately decided to start all over. Best decision ever. Fun fact: I took a crack song I had made in high school and used the bits that were pretty dope. It somehow works and I like the way it turned out, so cool beans.
