星塵 Stardust - はじめまして地球人さん Nice To Meet You, Mr. Earthling

I had tried to cover the Japanese song with this Chinese Vocaloid voicebank already in the beginning of December, but as my FFXIV-mentor-project quasi came into the way, it got no picture in time – ergo no upload on YouTube plus Deviantart. Surely, there are many beautiful fanarts for Stardust / Xingchen around the internet, but usually I refuse using artworks from other people. Since I upload my stuff to DA, it would be a shame to have to use a cover-drawing which isn't from me, just because I would be in a lazy mood. And at least, I had sketched Stardust already, wherefore a scan (uncleaned) lay on the PC. Talking about the sketch, it's a while ago since I decided for the last time to stick to the pencil-lines instead of using some 'proper' ones from Gimp or SAI. It felt a bit like returning to the roots while I colored this picture – especially because these are smooth lines and not those of a sharpened pencil. It was funny to draw Stardust plus to work with her voicebank. A Chinese Vocaloid is amusing to handle, when you want to let it sing Japanese – she uses L instead of R; her EI is like the Japanese E, while her E is like our (German) short-spoken E. Also, Stardust seems to be a nasally singer, although I like that somehow about her since it gives her some personality.
