For this song, the question I asked myself is how “weird” can I make a song sound without it being unlistenable haha. I went about this by using a whole lots of dissonance, a piano playing entirely microtones, and the wonderful voicebank of Mai. She really got that vibe. Because of all of this, I feel like this might be one of those songs that you have to listen to more than once before you start to get it Not being in college anymore lets me do a lot more animation for videos, but even then, a one month turn around on this one from my last video was kinda crazy lol. I'm probably going to skip uploading in January and maybe work on an original song idea I had that I want to make a pretty big video for.
