Don’t worry, I’m okay. I just wanted to wake an edgy Vocaloid song 👹🖤⛓ I know the content warning is pretty self-explanatory, but I wanted to go a little more into detail about the plot. In this song, Luka portrays an child who is emotionally neglected by her parents (Meiko and Kaito) and constantly tries to get their praise and love. There’s the obvious metaphor that she’s “starving” for attention, and the shitty customer service is a metaphor for the parents not meeting her emotional needs. Eventually, the kid snaps. Her eating herself is a metaphor for her changing from a good child who just wanted her parent’s attention into a chaotic, violent person. Basically, she’ll do anything to get her parents to notice her, and she doesn’t care if it’s good or bad attention that she’s receiving.
