Happy (early) Halloween! 🎃 Last June, I was listening to old school vocaloid yuri, and it stirred up a lot of nostalgia for 2008. I started to miss old vocahorror and the V2-era voicebanks, especially Luka. And when I thought about her old voicebank compared to the new SP one, I kind of had this idea of current-year Luka sounding like Miku after she put too much love into a necromancy spell. Additionally, after seeing/hearing very few entries with Miku during Vocagathering earlier this year, I've been having a lot of thoughts about Miku as a washed-up idol, which also influenced the direction of the story/lyrics.
