It features two musicians of different genres, the "Underground EDM Star" Sour and "Lady of the Orchestra" Sweet, as they face other colorful characters and genre-mixing music along the way. The mod was nominated and became the winner of the Turtle Pals Tapes Funk Jam. Initially having 4 songs for the modjam, the V2 update brings a vast more characters, new and familiar-ones, UI overhaul and 12 more exciting music into the fray. While the mod originally planned to have mini-updates in the form of mod folder DLC, those plans have now evolved into an entirely new V2.5 update that plans to add new songs, four new chapters, new original characters (Tangy and Salty)[3], another guest character (Ace)[4], and some quality of life changes to pre-existing content. This update is set to release sometime in 2025.[2] Spicy is a character in Flavor Rave, She, alongside Smoky, is described as a rival to Sweet and Sour, with ambitions of making a name for herself as a heavy metal musician. She and Smoky are a duo under the name 'The Flames of Togarashi Town' according to the locals. Hatsune Miku is a Vocaloid with blue eyes, blue hair and pink "01" tattoos on each shoulder. She wears black and pink hair bands with matching headset, black keyboard-like sleeves with cyan trims, gray sleeveless shirt with cyan tie, black skirt with cyan trims and a hanging cyan strap and a pair of black boots with cyan soles. (I see this a lot for the algorithm) Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io. The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
