【UTAU Release】Hyakutake REI (YUME) - Yumehami

hello!! im oliver, thank you so much for supporting REI's release!!! hyakutake rei is a cosmic deity who came down to earth to fix something unruly going on within the universe. without sense of emotion, the only thing she knows is that she wont back down to anyone to execute her mission. in her quest, she takes the body of a poor girl who was no longer with us, under the philosophy that with her controlling it, her mission would be complete. but as time passes, it seems like its more as though it is controlling her... gradually humanizing herself without realizing, who knows what will happen in the end when she finally comes face-to-face with the target. YUME is a soft voicebank, recorded in monopitch G#3 that includes two endbreaths (normal and glottal stop) and two breath samples! best working with tn_fnds and tips! voiced by my good irl who was kind enough to try making a voicebank in my house together! it was a little bit of a tedious process, it looked scarier than it actually turned out to be, but we had a lot of fun, and i think she enjoyed making REI too! please do not speculate on the identity of REI's voice provider/my irl. i had a chuunibyou phase in my youth. well; i havent exactly grown out of it ENTIRELY, but it was definetly worse in middle school nonetheless. i had this weird complex going on regarding it that if im ruthless and emotionless, ill be cool and ill be able to fix everything with just a stare. i was watchinG THE black rock shooter anime thinking "thats so me". but obviously, kids going through puberty are going through puberty, and it was hard to keep up the act of someone who feels literally nothing and breaks under no stress, pressure or responsibility. i think it was mostly influenced by my parents talking a lot about how "theres no love or care in the universe, just math" and how important the logical brain is, so i just kinda rolled with it. come to think of it, theres no logic in being all about logic. wheres the rest of you? wheres the rest of your fragile, malleable, plastic, unyielding, beautiful human brain? ust by leka, artwork by joe hyde, voice by anonymous thank you for the support 🖤
