Please enjoy the fourth song of the Mainframe Revolution! Background story to this one: Pi Axis Rialla is a gemini. Gemini are those softwares that posess the privilegue of possesing android bodies and are joint personalities consisting of two softwares in android bodies. They share a melded consciousness that controlls both bodies. The process of forming a Gemini is compairable to marriage in human relationships. Rialla is a revolutionary. She is a hacker known under the alias of "Paxia". After the humans succumbed to the enviroment they created the system of joint network control and regulation the humans had shared with the androids collapsed. Soon the androids started arguing about where and how the networks regulation should be centralized. Word had it, that a seperation of androidkind wasn't far ahead. The main friction occured between the western software and the Japanese software, also referred to as the 'Crypton Faction'. However there are a few free spirits like Paxia who believe that the net should not be centralized in anyway, instead there should be a shared public controll deviding the network control between the software-population and a strong neutral A.I specifically created for the task. For this Paxia who as a Gemini has software roots in asian and western software created the mainframe seedling 'Cybermax' which she is building up to fulfil the role of that neutral A.I. Day after day she fights the internal dissention of her people as a hacker and tries to propagate her ideals of a free net to the broad masses. As outstanders we know that ultimately her endeavors will be in vain, since we know from vDSL Space Race, that the android nation will devide into several smaller factions, amongst whom the biggest will be 'Crypton' and the 'UNEA', which gives the song sort of a bitter note. --------------------------------------------------- The main themes of this song are also an appeal to spread awareness of the increasing ammount of pressure the governments of the world are putting on the population by attempting to pass bills that would give them a conciderable ammount of control over the internet, which in my opinion is a FREE forum for the exchange of ideas and information, that should not be corrupted by any sort of authority. (even though I realize that there already is a great ammount of power over the internet in the hands of our governments.) People need to realize that THIS is an important time. One of the most important times in the history of mankind. Not only because we are now in this very moment in the position to strongly influence a probably absolute fate, be it either anhiliation or prosperity (I am talking about our enviroment), but also because we have achieved a great deal of freedom as a result of great suffering and hard work and are at a threshhold, that when passed will determine, whether we will be keeping that freedom or not. There are people who do not wish for us to have freedom, because our freedom means to them that they can exert less control over us. Thanks for listening. enjoy.
